Biographical Info
Christina Maniati holds a BA in Social Anthropology from the University of the Aegean (Greece) and has long-standing training in systemic and family therapy. She served as a scientific associate at the Psychiatric Clinic of the University General Hospital of Heraklion (PAGNI), contributing to clinical research and work with people experiencing psychosis. She has over 25 years of professional experience in addiction treatment, including illicit substance use and behavioral/legal addictions, primarily within KETHEA and, following institutional reform, EOPAE. Her interests lie at the intersection of psychological anthropology, systemic practice, family systems, and recovery.
