WiPS. Socializing ADHD: Indispensable Peers and Other Key Figures, Kathrin Bauer, 31 October

We warmly invite you to the first ENPA Works-in-Progress Seminar (WiPS)* of this term on Thursday, the 31st of October at 5PM CET via Zoom.

We are delighted to introduce this month’s presenter, Kathrin Bauer from Freie Universität Berlin, who will share her work-in-progress titled:

Socializing ADHD: Indispensable Peers and Other Key Figures

Based on 15 months of fieldwork, I explore the presences and absences of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in different Colombian communities. In this presentation, I will share key insights about how socialization goals and practices, daily lives, and the social environment affect the manifestation and implications of ADHD-like behaviors and traits. A focus will be on the role of peers, a part of the social environment that often remains unacknowledged in research on ADHD.

To join ENPA WiPS and receive the link for discussion, please register here.

We hope to see many of you on Thursday, October 31st, and look forward to the stimulating and friendly discussion.
